Use The Paleo Diet To Enhance Your Metabolism And Burn Fat

By Andrew Simpson

Back in the ages when the average human had to catch a fish and then worry about fighting away a saber-tooth tiger for his dinner, the medical complications that plague modern society were unheard of. Obesity, heart diseases, diabetes, indigestion, hemorrhoids, and other medical complications are a direct result of the poor diet of modern humans. If you want to eliminate fat and health concerns, choose the food that our forefathers did.

The Paleo Diet is the solution to a huge number of different weight issues. If you simply want to eliminate love handles or if you want to totally change your eating habits, going for all-natural ingredients is the best way to ensure that you do not put on more pounds.

So many of the meal choices you see at a supermarket or a restaurant are packed with these processed foods that make your tummy swell and your waistline expand. Processed foods like cheese, for instance, are nearly pure fat to begin with, but with the preservatives they are jammed full of more artificial sugars.

If you have been eating processed foods all of your life and want a solution to the fat growing about your stomach and waist, you need only do what our ancestors did and find foods that occur naturally in the world. Making a commitment to the Paleo Diet is a sure-fire way to eliminate fat stored up from a lifetime of unhealthy choices.

Many of the foods we eat today may as well have been specifically designed to make us fat. Hydrogenated oils are almost impossible to digest in the human metabolism and turn instantly to fat once they are eaten. High fructose corn syrup, likewise, is effectively pure sugar and will be stored as body fat unless immediately burned off.

Archeologists have shown that human brain sizes have grown significantly in only the past few ten thousand years or so. This is because the paleo diet provided excellent nutrition needed to keep brain matter growing and muscle mass strong. Compare this to a modern diet, which only excels at creating a ring of fat around our midsections.

The results of modern, artificial foods speak for themselves. Only one in three Americans are not overweight, and only two in three are not obese. The solution is not maintaining an artificially low calorie count, but maintaining a calorie count low in artificial food. When your body can process and utilize every aspect of its meals, it creates no fat to be stored.

This is the great advantage of the Paleo Diet. Ten thousand years ago, someone who caught a fish or nabbed some eggs or brought back a cauliflower plant to the tribe would have eaten it and enjoyed every bit of nutrition. Today, we eat potato chips that contain no nutrition at all.

How can you lose weight on the Paleo Diet? Simply put, all you need to do is follow it. Most of the fat on a person's body comes from the hydrogenated oils and syrups of everyday meals. Cut those out, and watch your waistline fade away.

The best part of the Paleo Diet is that it does not compromise on nutrition. If you want to bulk up and get a set of killer abs, you can get all the protein you need. If you want to fight flu season, you can get more than enough Vitamin C.

The end result is more fat burned away from your stomach, thighs, arms, and waist. It is not a matter of counting calories, simply a matter of letting your body process the nutrition it needs on a daily basis.

What is the result? On the Paleo diet, you need not live like a caveman, but your physique can certainly look like one. You get the nutrition needed for a healthy and happy life while your metabolism revs up in order to process each meal. You burn away excess body fat while creating muscle mass and trim away the unsightly fat built up by a lifetime of artificial ingredients.
