From this point on, the motivation gets much easier. You have visibly seen the results of your hard work and dedication, and that is what drives you to keep going now. Another option is to hold onto the end of the pool and use your legs to kick. A simple workout that doesn't require you to know how to swim is to try running from one end to the pool to the other. You'll see how hard it is, and realize you're going in slow motion. That's a good cardio workout right there!

  • Jumping Jacks are fun. They're also good for warming up the body. Do around 15 to 20 Jumping Jacks in the beginning. Increase by 10 every time you feel that your stamina and energy has improved.

  • Leg lifts can be done even when you're working on your computer or laptop. Improve leg muscle and strength by lifting your legs repeatedly for several minutes. You can do this workout routine in one-hour intervals while seated in your computer chair.

  • Since you may not have enough space at home, instead of running, you can jog in place. Set your timer to five minutes for this exercise. To maximize your time wisely, you can watch your favorite TV show or listen to your favorite songs while jogging.

  • Dancing is a good cardio exercise. It also helps burn a lot of calories. You can dance to any music that you want, or choose to go with a dance-based aerobic program on video. There are a lot of choices you can choose from, like hip hop aero dance routines and dance workouts designed especially for men.

  • Crunches. Who is not familiar with crunches? Practically everyone who has, at one point in his life, longed for six-pack abs know what regularly doing crunches can mean.There are a lot of varieties of crunch exercises; there are the regular ones that we are all familiar with and there's the one where an exercise ball is used. There are also variations that make use of weights for added resistance.

  • If you have exercise machines at home; like a treadmill, rowing machine or an exercise bike, use them well. Divide your time among your machines. Rush to the gym if you want to get rid of extra fat. Use more weights to burn calories. If you want to lose weight, you have to use heavy weights. The exercise duration has to be 25 to 30 minutes. Focus on one muscle per day. It is recommended to go to the gym 3 to 4 days in a week. So if you go 4 days a week, you have 4 different muscles to focus upon throughout the week. It's amazing what juicing does for my body. Age disappears, wrinkles disappear, weight diminishes, the attitude and energy of a child emerge. These are just some of the benefits of juicing.

I learned a long time ago that the negative effects of "aging" are not simply caused by getting older, it's mostly caused by the accumulation of toxins in the body, over longer and longer periods of time. I started doing fruit and vegetable juicing in the 1970s, and have continued on and off, since then to get the benefits of juicing.

My last three fasts were for 39 days each.

Now before you ever attempt doing a juice fast, be sure and get a good book on the subject and study it well, so that you do it right. Because if you do it wrong, it will add aging, wrinkles, sickness and even worse. So, do it right, or don't do it at all.

Over the last few decades I've been told three times, by three different people, that I looked like a little child in my face. I was over 40 years old, by that time.

It gets really simple when you're hungry; just to go in and turn on the juicer and juice away.

It's amazing how just a glass of fresh, raw juice can fill you up and really satisfy you. Tips and Secrets to the Benefits of Juicing

This information is written from a truly personal point of view. I started juicing about 15 years ago. At that time I owned a company and was the CEO, constrained mostly to an office desk job. I weighed 200 pounds (about 30 pounds overweight) and was not eating properly. Then I came across a report about the health benefits gained from juicing.

I ended up buying a juice machine off a television commercial. I started my juicing "experiment" to see if I could really lose weight, attain more energy, and overall feel better. I was pretty skeptical about this "juicing" ordeal. To my surprise it actually worked.

After juicing for three months I lost 33 pounds, had much more energy, and overall felt great. I have to admit that I did NOT increase my exercise routine, join a gym, or change anything else, including drinking beer and occasional bourbon. I only juiced breakfast and lunch and continued to eat a "normal" dinner.

When I started seeing results I did watch what I ate when I was traveling on business. Only ate lean meat that was not fried, veggies that were not soaked in butter or oils, and drink eight to ten glasses of water each day. Have to admit there were some embarrassing moments because I really did not know what I was doing at first. Had to go to church for my daughter's child program and I reeked of garlic, let alone of how strong the juice was when I drink it.
