The Very Worst Food items Ever!

By Vanessa Summer

The world is filled with food that tastes good and is still amazingly bad for you. Sure we are able to recognize some of these things-most fast food, for example, while super tasty to eat, cause havoc on your internal system and add way too many calories to your fat stores. But what about the foods that look like a perfectly acceptable thing to eat? What about some of those meals that you just feed to your kids? In this article we are going to be checking out a number of the absolute worst type of foods that you could ever feed to yourself or other people in your family.

Macaroni and cheese, believe it or not, is just about the worst things that one could order. While the make at home on your own type from Kraft or Annie's is fairly harmless, the mac and cheese you get at a diner usually is not. The Kids' Mac and Cheese meal from California Pizza Kitchen, as an example is frighteningly bad. Just one particular order of this food holds almost forty grams of saturated fat, over sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and more than one thousand calories. No part of that is really nutritious.

How often have you purchased a version of those frozen pot pies from your grocery store? On the outside these appear to be fine, healthy last minute dinners or lunches but the fact is that most of them are loaded with extra calories. The pot pies produced by Stouffer's, for instance, are packed with virtually eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium, more than sixty grams of fat and more than eleven hundred calories. You could wind up eating all your recommended caloric intake if you are on a mission to lose weight--just by eating one of these things!

You are likely under the sense that if you are going to have something from a sandwich shop, the vegetarian sandwich is your healthiest option, right? The real truth of the matter is that, since you will most likely putting dressings and other condiments in this sandwich as well, they are usually just as unhealthy as a sandwich packed with meat. The vegetarian hoagie from Blimpies, for instance, contains almost twelve hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium. How could that ever become thought of as healthy?

A salad must be wholesome, right? This is common idea anyway. If we need something that is healthy and speedy, most of the time we look for a salad to fill us up with food that is healthy for us. It could possibly shock you then to learn that some salads are not all that healthy. The Santa Fe chopped salad out of TGI Fridays, as an example, weighs in at eighteen hundred calories. This is usually due to the fact that it is the size of a huge dinner plate but, seriously: do you want all of your daily calorie intake to come from a single dinner salad?

The simple fact is that most of the foods that we order while we are on the go or from restaurants is just not as good for us as the food that we cook and prepare for ourselves. Cooking in your own home might feel boring or irritating but if you are trying to lose weight and get healthy, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
