Is There A Best Exercise To Lose Weight?

Regular exercise is the key to getting the most out of your weight loss program. Problem is many people have no idea where to begin with exercise.

There are many different opinions on the best exercise to lose weight. There is no one size fits all exercise but some exercises are more effective than others.

Although there is no one size fits all exercise, three exercises that work for weight loss are:

A Brisk Walk

If you are new to exercise, walking is a great place to begin.

When walking, wear comfortable shoes that provide your feet with support.

Walking works well because you can start out slow and increase your pace with each day to burn more calories.

Not only is walking good for losing weight, but it has been proven to increase your energy, lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of certain diseases such as type 2 diabetes.

Aerobic Dance Workouts

Aerobic dance routines such as Zumba and Hip Hop Abs burn fat and calories which promote weight loss. They also improve muscle strength and circulation of oxygen through the body.

There are other health benefits related to dancing as well. These include reducing stress levels, lowering blood pressure and increasing energy.

When using aerobics as part of an exercise routine you should target at least thirty minutes per session three days or more per week.

Swimming

Taking a few laps in a pool is a great way to lose weight and tone your body.

When swimming, you are working all the major muscles in your body. It is an effective to not only lose weight but to improve your strength and flexibility as well.

For better and faster results add in a healthy meal plan to complement your exercise routine.

When doing any type of exercise, it is important to do warm up exercises before starting and cool down exercising when finished.

Any of the above exercise can be effective at helping you lose excess pounds.

While any exercise is better than none, the best exercise to lose weight is the one you enjoy and produces the results you desire.
