By Essie Osborn

When you make a body wrap, the fist thing that you must bear in mind is to take time in the preparation. This step would include your time for shopping of the necessary products to use. This might even last up to few days and do not make this on the last minute.

There are packages sold in which you can use in an instant but you may choose to create your own. Spa heat wraps are mainly made of bandage rolls made of elastic fiber and has varying sizes and are currently sold in many drug stores. An adult would need fifteen rolls in an average.

The next step that you have to take is to buy some safety pins which are large enough to fasten the bandages or you may look for them in your sewing kit. These will be needed because it would be hard to keep the whole thing in place if not because of these. Most of the bandages would already include some clips however pins would be better for a smoother work.

Moreover, you should as well secure the necessary solution and these can be readily bought in most stores but you may opt to make your personal solution. All you have to do is to obtain the necessary ingredients. The contents and amounts of each ingredient would depend on the health needs and the aroma therapeutic preferences of the user.

One more thing that you should be informed about is that you must also have a PVC suit that is used for working out which can be bought in stores for sporting goods. This is not very pricey and its material is rubber like which is effective in promoting sweating. This is not among those sweat suits which are made of fleece but this is secured by strings or velcro too.

Then, you would have to turn on the heat inside the home with your heating system or you could bring a portable heater in your bathroom. This would be necessary because you might feel a little chilly when you apply the piece. This will also keep you out of the drafts which cause the chills.

It would then be the right time to then be time for you to gather up all the tools for wrapping in order to set them up and you can also get a handy book for reading. You may preoccupy yourself with reading while you wait. You may then be ready to mix your solutions and use the hot water from the tap.

You will then have to pour the solution you mixed into a bucket and make sure that it would be sufficient to soak the bandages. To ensure that these will not cause burning, you may adjust the tub water temperature or add cool water into the bucket. You must soak the pieces in a way that they will all absorb the solution before removing them.

Furthermore, wrapping these on your body should be tight enough but not too much to impede blood circulation. In applying on your legs, start with one leg and then end on the knee and do this with the other leg too. Be sure that no skin will be left exposed.
